Best of

The best in cyber security, judged not paid.

Most best-of lists are sold to whoever pays the most. These are different. Each one is drawn from real winners of the Cyber Security Awards, a programme decided by an independent panel. No entry buys a place, and no sponsor moves a name.

How these lists are built: each one contains only real winners of the Cyber Security Awards, a programme judged by an independent panel. We do not sell placement, and sponsorship has no bearing on who appears or where. See how winners are chosen or browse every winner.

FAQ

About these lists

Can a company pay to appear on one of these lists?

No. Every list is built only from judged winners of the Cyber Security Awards. Placement cannot be bought, and sponsorship has no effect on who appears or where they rank.

Who decides who makes each list?

An independent panel scores every nomination against published criteria. The lists reflect those decisions and nothing else. See the methodology page for the full process.

How many lists are there?

Eight in total. Five cover individuals, including leaders, rising stars and influencers, and three cover organisations, teams, products, services and the communities and events that support the field.

How often are the lists updated?

Each list reflects the most recent edition and is refreshed as a new cohort is recognised. The 2026 cohort is the current one.
